Woolworths Testers Club The Bunch

Woolworths are joining Aldi by creating their own testers club.  Called The Bunch, it will be an online community where members provide reviews of their products.  Woolworths previously ran a pilot trial of the club, and products samples included cheese, ready made meals, frozen pizza, bacon and bread.

How to sign up

Anyone can apply to sign up to The Bunch, all you need is a Woolworths rewards card.  The next recruitment round will take place during the last week of June.  Woolworths will then go through these applications and select members from all around the country.

How to get the free samples

Once you have been selected as a member, you will then receive an email whenever new samples are available.  Then you claim the sample, which will be loaded onto your Rewards Card.  During your next shop in Woolworths, add the item to your shopping, scan your Rewards Card and the price of that item will be deducted from your shopping total.

Reviewing the samples

Posting a review of the sample is completely voluntary, but the more reviews you post and the more active you are, the more samples you will receive in the future.  There are different Bunch membership levels, so writing more reviews means people will interact with you more in the online community, which will raise you up to higher Bunch levels.  The most active users typically get the opportunity to try samples every week.
