Lust Have It September Review
The September Lust Have It was a little behind schedule once again, but it did arrive a week or so into October. This months parcel arrived in a black zip up mesh bag rather than the usual bright pink, which I thought was a nice little change. As for the contents of the bag, I didn’t think the included products were quite as good as the past few months have been. I have listed each individual product as well as the recommended retail price and my thoughts below as part of the Lust Have It September Review.
OFRA Lip Liner in Wine, RRP $19.50
Lip liner is not something I usually (or ever for that matter) wear, however the product card included in the Lust Have It bag states that the pencil is suitable for the most sensitive eye and lip areas. I’m not sure if the colour would be suitable for eyes, but I might give it a try as an eye liner.
Designer Brands Twist N Go Nail Polish Remover, RRP $4.99
I don’t wear nail polish very often as it feels as though it chips off as quick as I can apply it, but I will be giving this a go next time I do paint my nails. The packaging says to simply dip and twist your nail in the remover, and it will remove polish in just 1 second. If it works as well as the packaging suggests this will be a very handy product to have on hand.
White Glo Whitening Toothpaste, 24g sample
I thought toothpaste was a bit of an interesting choice in a monthly beauty bag. Given that this is a sample of a relatively inexpensive product I haven’t included a cost for this item.
UB Cosmetics Tint Stick, RRP $23
This colour is an extremely bright pink, it kind of reminds me of a pink highlighter. This tint stick promises at least 10 hours of wear. I tried a little on the back of my hand and it stayed put the entire day, so this tint has fantastic staying power.
Kerastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte 30ml deluxe sample and Kersastase Masque 30ml deluxe sample
I’m yet to try either of the products but they look great, and they are decent sized samples.
Your Tea Skin Magic Tea Bags x 6
I actually only received 1 of the tea bags but the remaining 5 have been promised in the next Lust Have It.
While this month’s Lust Have It was good value considering the monthly price, there is not a whole lot I would use personally, such as the lip liner and lip tint.
You can try out Lust Have It for only $15 for the first month, visit the Lust Have It website for more information.
