If you love coconut, you will love these 2 ingredient macaroons; they are slightly chewy, and have that amazing toasted coconut flavour. This recipe will make around 20 macaroons, but you can easily double the recipe if you would prefer to use the entire tin of sweetened condensed milk. If your macaroons feel like they need a little extra liquid once you have stirred through the condensed milk, just add a small amount of milk to the mixture.
- 250g dessicated coconut
- 1/2 395g can sweetened condensed milk
Combine the coconut and condensed milk in a large bowl. the mixture shuld look dry, but hold it's shape when gently pressed together.
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Put tablespoons full of mixture onto the baking tray and gently press together.
Bake at 160c for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Leave to cool on tray before serving.
