Pumpkin Patch closing 27 stores by November 15

Pumpkin Patch are closing 17 Australian stores by November 15 with 50% off RRP in affected stores

 

It’s news that many have been expecting for a while, but receivers have announced New Zealand based retailer Pumpkin Patch will be closing 27 Australian stores by November 15th, including both Pumpkin Patch and Charlie & Me stores.  Seven New Zealand stores will also be closing by November 8th.  Unfortunately up to 145 people will be losing their jobs as a result of the collapse.

Got a gift card?

If you are holding onto a Pumpkin Patch or Charlie & Me gift card or store credit, you are advised to use it ASAP, as often gift cards will stop being accepted as payment once receivers are appointed.  If you do intend on using a gift card, be aware that currently only 50% off your purchase value can be paid for by gift card, and you will need to pay for the remaining 50% off your purchase total using cash.

 

For example, a $40 purchase can be paid for with a $20 gift card and $20 cash.

 

Any bargains?

It is expected that affected stores will be offering all items at 50% off the RRP until the stores close, so now is the time to stock up on children’s clothing at bargain prices.
